James C. Little is from the Puget Sound area and graduated from the WSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. He has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Kitsap County area for over 23 years. Dr. Little began as a farm and small animal veterinarian switching to small animals and exotic pets after 6 years. He since has developed a special interest in exotic and fine detail/micro surgery.

Dr. David Balderrama is orginally from California and graduated from Ross University school of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.
Dr. Balderrama is highly interested in exotic medicine especially reptiles and amphibians.  He holds an associates degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management and a Bachelors of Science in Zoology from UCDavis of California.  Prior to attending Veterinary School he worked at the Los Angeles Zoo and while in his last year of Veterinary School he assisted the veterinarians at the Sunset and Topeka's Zoo in Topeka Kansas.  He also worked for 3 years in emergency medicine and 2 years in private practice before joining All Creatures.
Dr. Balderrama is currently studying to become board-certified in reptile and amphibian veterinary medicine.
In his off time he enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys playing the drums.

Rachel Kuhn

Rachel was born in Marshalltown Iowa. She has lived in Iowa, Texas and Tennessee.  She lives here in Washington with her husband, Bryan and two sons Mason and Logan, affectionately nicknamed masonator and loganator due to the destruction of  the cleanliness of her home at all points in time. She has a dog and a cat, loves riding horses, hiking and reading. Rachel's veterinary interests include behavior, internal medicine, opthomology and dermatology.

Scott Ford, DVM, DABVP (Avian): Scott is a board-certified specialist in avian medicine and surgery. His career with wild birds began in 1989 with the Alaska Raptor Center where the caseload was predominantly bald eagles. He graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. His veterinary career has included private practice (including All Creatures Animal Hospital from 1998-2002), specialty avian practice, and staff veterinarian at the Alaska Raptor Center. He currently practices as a free-lance avian specialist out of several veterinary practices in Washington and Alaska and is an avian consultant on the Veterinary Information Network. In his spare time he assists the West Sound Wildlife Shelter in Washington and also makes regular visits to Alaska to assist wildlife centers there. He also provides veterinary support to field projects involving capture and telemetry implants in wild waterfowl. Scott is the chair of the Conservation Committee of the Association of Avian Veterinarians and has been a speaker at conferences around the country. He has also published avian medicine articles in peer-reviewed journals. Outside of work, Scott is also a private pilot with float and instrument ratings. Kati Huisingh

Kati achieved her Veterinary Technician License through education and years of experiences. Her experiences have allowed her to work with such animals as tigers, lions, leopards, and jaguars. Kati has also worked with birds from around the world; Southern Ground Hornbills, MotMots, Snowy Owls, Andean Condors, Flamingos, and many more. Kati hopes someday to be able to be a part of a research team that works in the natural environment with the remaining tiger species.

Lucy joined the All Creatures Veterinary Hospital team as an assistant in June 2008. She has worked in the veterinary industry in her native state of Kentucky, as well as South Carolina and now Washington as she moves around the country supporting her husband’s naval career. She started out working in Equine ICU, and has worked in several Equine ER and small animal ER settings prior to coming to All Creatures. Lucy is a student at St. Petersburg College where she is working on her Veterinary Technician degree. In her spare time, Lucy likes to ride horses and play with her Australian Cattle Dog.

Melissa has worked for All Creatures Animal Hospital for 3 years. She lives in Bremerton and has 2 dogs; Blaze (Bullmastiff/Bulldog) and Token (Pit bull mix). She also has a cat named Marshmallow and a 6 foot long Green Iguana named Buddy.

Ashtyn has worked for All Creatures Animal Hospital for 2 years as a Receptionist and is a native to Kitsap County. She is an avid animal enthusiast and strives to learn more about them with each encounter. Her private collection of critters includes dogs, cats, frogs, boas, and skinks. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, dinking around on the computer, and enjoying the great Northwest. She and her fellow receptionist’s all love baked goods and encourage clients to satisfy their sweet tooth.

Linda has worked for All Creatures Animal Hospital as a Receptionist since 2002.  She has lived in this area all of her life. Linda started out raising and showing rabbits as a young girl and still enjoys the hobby today. Much of her free time is devoted to her animal family which includes dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, chickens, chameleons, frogs, tortoises, newts, and love birds. When the opportunity arises she enjoys raising orphaned baby animals

Cindy has worked at All Creatures Animal Hospital since 2001. She has lived in the Northwest since 1988, having been raised in Hawaii. Her husband works for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton and she has 2 children; one son currently enrolled in college, studying to be a Dentist and her other son has graduated with a Masters Degree in History. She has twin 16 month old granddaughters and loves being a Grandma. Her pet's name is Buford, a lovable 10 year old Basset Hound. Working at All Creatures Animal Hospital is very exciting for her as she is able to see many different species of animals up close.

Amy is originally from Kentucky and moved to Washington State in 1998. She has a Bachelors of Science in business administration and accounting. Amy has worked for All Creatures Animal Hospital since May of 2003 and loves being able to interact with both animals and their owners. She lives in Port Orchard with her husband; Mark, 3 Great Pyrenees; Annabelle, Gable and Suki, their cats; Finnegan and Rose. She also enjoys the outdoors, reading, and cross-stitching.
