H1N1 and your Pet

 By Kathryn Krueger, DVM

All Creatures would like to provide some information to ease your concerns regarding the H1N1 virus and how it could affect your family pet.

There is no reason to think that the H1N1 influenza virus will cause a pandemic in our companion animals.  Thousands of pets have had apparent exposure to owners with the influenza virus, with very few reported incidents of illness.

What is Salmonella?

By: James C. Little, DVM

Salmonella is rod-shaped, usually motile bacteria that is pathogenic to man and other warm-blooded animals and causes food poisoning, gastrointestinal inflammation, and diseases of the genital tract. This bacteria is extremely common in reptiles and can cause severe, life-threatening illness in both humans and reptiles.

Expansion of Appointment hours

All Creatures would like to announce additional appointment hours available at our hospital.  We are open for regular appointments until 9pm and offer urgent care services until 11pm 7 days per week.  We are also opening our Saturday and Sunday morning schedules for Dental procedures, Spays and Neuters.
